Someday I had you in my future
Today you are there in my present
and will be remembered in past when gone
I may not say you are perfect nor best for me,
but I am with you cause you are my choice
I cannot make promises, not because
I cannot fulfill them, but
merely because future is uncertain
and I have no control over it
Though there is much communication gap between us
yet I am all ears to the voice of heart that beats
to the rhythm of your love for me
I am not here for my physical needs,
rather for the one who can
understand, love & care for me
and so do I
